Fishing is physical activity that works up a big appetite, and Patagonia Fishing Hosts will feed and refresh you well.
We will provide all the food, starting with breakfast, consisting of different kinds of eggs, bacon, jam, toast, fruits, juice, tea and coffee. Breakfast should be around 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Carrileufu Valley Lodge.
Lunch is normally along the river. It typically consists of homemade bread, cheese, salami, prosciuto, smoked trout, fresh salads and other appetizers, different cuts of meat, or chicken as a main dish, plus dessert. All this is served with wine, sodas, water and coffee or tea.
Dinner is served at the Carrileufu Valley Lodge after getting back from the river. This is Patagonian food at its best, served with some of the best wines you can find in Argentina, especially Malbec, which is our premium wine. Beer, liquor and soft drinks are also available in an open bar.
One night we will have a typical lamb Asado, cooked on the cross, Gaucho style, delicious!
On fishing trips involving camping, we will provide a hearty breakfast to get ready for a long day on the water fishing and fishing. Lunch would be on some nice spot where you are going to feel you are in the middle of nowhere and that at that time you own the river, quite a unique experience!
Dinner consists of beef and lamb entrees. We have plenty of wine, water, soft drinks and alcohol, as well as fresh fruit, vegetables and snacks for any time of the day.
If you have any special dietary requirements or food preferences, please let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate within reason. |
